Crystal Palace Tactic?

Hi,

I've adopted palace as my FM15 side, and i'm yet to find a tactic that doesn't result in a relegation scrap.

I've tried both a 4 and 5 at the back but the results seem to be the same, no consistency and constantly conceeding from the wings

Any advice?

Try simple tactics for underdog teams:-


442 - Attacking/Counter - Structured
More Direct, Clear Ball to Flanks, Run At Defence, Higher Tempo

GK - Sweeper Keeper Support
DR/DL - Full Back Attack
DC/DC - Central Defender Defend
MR/ML - Wide Midfielder Attack
MCR - Deep Lying Playmaker Support
MCL - Ball Winning Mid Defend
STR - Advanced Forward Attack
STL - Poacher Attack

Thanks for the advice,

I tried a 4-1-2-2-1 with these tactics

Sweeper keeper
2xwing back support
2x limited defender
1xanchor man
2xBall winning Midfielders
2x inside forwards
1x complete forward

with shorter passing, higher tempo, exploit flanks, etc.

And OIs such as pressing the keeper and wide players

So far i'm dominating most games in terms of shots and possession, just not able to hang on to a win sometimes, does anybody switch after scoring to a counter or defensive mentality?
