What effect does it have on me or the team, on how much pay im getting?

I'm handling Real Madrid and they offered me 500k/month.

Wondering where does this money go? and what use is there to it?
Wouldnt it be the same as me getting 1k/month since i can't see what use there is for my "money" im earning.

:D

There is part of your board confidence, where it tells you how secure your job is based upon how much it would cost the club to sack you. Therefore, I would conclude that a higher wage leads to greater job security, as clubs are much more likely to sack someone that isn't earning much and would therefore require less compensation. This is guesswork though.

Additionally, I'm sure I read that on previous versions, your wage was linked to your reputation, so a higher wage might increase your reputation slightly, leading to better players willing to join your club. I don't know if this was true though, but it is an interesting thought. If it is true, I'm also not sure how much of an effect it would actually have compared to winning a cup for example.

I always accept the lowest wage possible as, and i may be wrong, but think accepting a low salary will leave the club with more money for player wages etc..

I think those wages are different..? Manager wages are similar to Coaches, Physios and Scouts wages in the matter that they don't come out of Player Wages/Transfer Budget.. They're separate, hence you negotiate with Board if you want to increase staff salary.

However, it's probably true that slightly lower wages will help the Board in making a slightly better profit, overall.. I think, I'm not too sure./

I think its pointless to earn money but not having nothing where to spend it. in former editions we had skills like the other coaches, but not now.

If we could pick that money to get more skills, such as tactic knowledge, that would make the tactics be learned more quickly, it would be great, and logic to the wage.

Thats way, the more you earned and spend, the more the team would benefit with it.

I would go a little step forward...Each manager earn credits...The higher the reputation of the team the lower the credits...And with those credits he is going to go to Steam and buy all kinds of cool stuff made for Football manager...Those cool stuff could only be gained by those credits...

Would definitely add more interactiveness to the game (not that its lacking) if we could use the money we have earned to say; contribute to transfer budget or a larger scale actions like contributing to a new stadium or a stake in the club?

Or at least let me know how much i've earned in my career!

It lets you know how much you've earned if you go to manager->history
