Hi guys. I have been playing the football manager games religiously since about 2006. And have been following a lot of the stories on here.

And I would like to do a story on here from FM14.

I know people arent keen on people doing this. But this is a story I am going to stick with until the release of FM15.

So the question is what team would people enjoy reading a story about that hasnt already been done?

And the choices are out of literally any team on the game as it will be a long term story. Updates will be most evenings GMT.

I will wait and see what people say then narrow it down to 4 teams. Then will write up a little bit of history about each team and the pros and cons of managing them.

Really hope I get a good response as I am really keen on doing this.

Dan

Try and go on a relatively unknown league in Europe like slovenia, or any country with around the same rep as them and try to lead a team from there to continental glory.

Slovenia is an option. They have a couple of teams that have good history. The obvious one being Maribor. But I would go for one of their worse teams as I prefer a challenge.

Is there not that much interest in this then? A lot of views but only one comment

views are probably from visitors to the site who cant comment and im not saying you would but i grow tired of recommending teams to people on posts like this and then they choose somethin completely different, But i say play as Dnipro of Ukraine, Sion of Switzerland or Hajduk of Croatia, teams that are good but not the best in their divisions and will give you a real challenge in Europe

I understand mate. It does get frustrating aswell when I read these and people post up threads like mine and never bother starting. Im a big fan of your stories btw.

I like the sound of all 3 of those tbh and will do a bit of research tonight. As I am at work atm.

I would probably be leaning towards Dnipro out of these if I am honest.

Do you mind if I Pm you just asking a bit of advice about the story writing?

yeah thats fine, i had a story with Dnipro last year, were a pretty fun team and havent won a single trophy in their history.

Cools ideas seemed pretty good so I'd go for what he said.

A Mid table Belgian side or Argentinian side, don't see many!!

Going to start my new story at somepoint either tonight or tomorrow. Got my xbox one yesterday so that has delayed it from starting lol

So after Cools recommendation, I have decided to do my first story (so bear with me) with.....

FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk

A brief history of the club:
FC Dnipro are a Ukrainian Club who currently ply their trade within the Ukrainian Premier League.

The team was formed in 1918 originally under the name BRIT, and has been through several name changes before settling for Dnipro after the collapse of the Soviet Union

Their main rivals are Metalist Kharkiv, but the fans of the club are friendly with the fans of Dynamo Kyiv.

They have an empty trophy cabinet unfortunately not winning anything since the formation of the Ukrainian Premier League in 1993, despite being runners up in the Ukrainian Cup on three occasions, losing all three times to Shaktar Donetsk.

The Dnipro Arena has been the clubs home since 2008 and has a capacity of 31,003 spectators.Ruslan Rotan is the current captain of the team.

In the next post.....

Introduction to the manager.
Press Conference.
Pre-Season and transfers.

Rotan is immense, and Zozulya and Selezynov, thats if there still there havent looked at the team this year

Next post will be up tomorrow. Been cooking a roast so havent been able to get on with it as much as id hoped haha
