why when i make changes in editor, save the changes and exit dont they come into effect in a new game?

Tried saving editor files, merging to DB or not merging to DB but cant get the game to recognise my changes

Opened editor which opened the db. loaded editor data

Edited the stuff i wanted and saved the file in the same folder that contained the data i updated

merging or not merging makes no difference. just refuses to recognise changes

Editing Competitions

Does anyone know/understand how to edit existing competitions? For the life of me I cant find out where to do this? HELP!

Yep. I'm having the same problem. Have you worked it out?

It should be saving to your 'Editor data' folder, in the same FM 2014 files where you save games and tactics etc? then give the option to turn on or off saved dbc or xml files..

it is - i can see it in my files but it still wont load in my game?

will it work only in the normal mode?

in fact - doesnt seem to be saving properly. i cant see it when i try to load it from the game
