After just 2 years out of the game, David Beckham has announced that he will return to football as a coach. His former side Manchester United, were quick to sign him as their Midfield Coach. So began a journey into management for Sir David Beckham.

Beckham had a hugely successful career. He had spells with Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, LA Galaxy and AC Milan before ending his career in 2013 with PSG. He scored 129 goals for his clubs and 17 for his country, England

However, considering the fact that Beckham was a superstar, a role as a Manager was never too far, and he was offered jobs by many clubs.

The truth however, was that Beckham was not quite ready to be a manager. Amazing players don't make amazing coaches, as we have seen many times

Louis Van Gaal wanted to see me, so I went and had a seat. I sat wondering what he wanted. Maybe a report on some player? Maybe a new contract? God knew. Then he entered 10 mins later and said:

LVG: Are you ready to be a manager?
DB: I think I can give it a try.
LVG: I'll test your managing skills, I'll make you the assistant coach for ManU for the next 2 months, then I'll tell you whether you're ready
DB: Ok boss. I'll give it everything

This was to be a test for Beckham. The next 2 months passed by and the day of assessment arrived and Beckham duly went to the office of LVG.

DB: So am I ready?
LVG: I have to say..................... Hm...................... YOu're ready!
DB: Great news!

Just 24 hours later Tottenham Hotspurs came calling and David duly signed the contract.
The fans were ecstatic!

David arrived at the White Hart Lane with applause from all ends of the stadium. They were extremely pleased with the new manager.

This was a fantastic opportunity for David to show the world that he could manage a top team.

I'm liking the sound of this but to make it better I suggest putting everything into one post instead of having many different post. This will make it look more professional

As I arrived at training on the first day, I evaluated all the staff and players. I was really impressed by the staff. However, I feel some transfers might be needed. I'll now discuss my transfers-

TRANSFERS OUT

Assou-Ekotto : Just not good enough. Already had two left backs so no need
Emmanuel Adebayor: Had huge wages and was 30. I cashed in on him.
Dominic Ball: Just for 1st team experience
Vlad Chirches : Good player, but as you'll get to know, I bought two CBs so he was extra and I got good cash for him
Nabil Bentaleb: He just wasn't going to get 1st team expierience so yeah.
Vejkovic: Self explanatory
Peruzzi: loaned him out, then called him back when I realized Walker was injured and I had only one Right Back
Vertonghen: He wanted to go and I got a good bid, so he went.

TRANSFERS IN

Sviatchenko: Good young Center Back, I needed one after two departures(Vertonghen and Chirches)
Peruzzi: Good RB as a long term player
Jozy Altidore : I needed a backup for the sriker position
Khune: Very good GK as our no. 2
Vlaar: Good experienced CB with BPL time before
COUTINHO: He is an absolutely great player I am retraining him for false nine so he is also versatile. Him and Eriksen will be deadly

Now I'll discuss my preseason which was really good

Of course there was a loss but it doesn't matter. The players are all set for the season ahead.

I am aiming for a spot in the CL which maybe a bit too ambitious but I am confident.

Lets start the season

So our first game was against Swansea, which is a bit tough to be honest :

Altidore was great with an assist and a goal. Wilfred Bony gave us a few scares but in the end we prevailed. Great start. But now we had our Europa League playoff against a pretty easy opponent: Sporting Lokeren :

Great! The start to the season is brilliant! The new man Coutinho put in a great perfomance with a goal, assist and a hand it he 3rd. Brilliant.

We now had our Europa League qualification 2nd leg match:

Great victory. Takes us through to the group stage of the Europa League. Kyle Noughton was great. Altidore again was good.

Now our Capital One CUp and Europa League draws:

Our Capital One Cup is against Everton( a tough start) and Europa League:

Fairly easy group

Now we had a BPL clash vs West Brom:

Good solid victory. Altidore is in immense form! Another goal! Lamela had no trouble from the spot and gave us a 2-0 victory.

LEAGUE STANDINGS:

Good position : 2nd. Good start to the BPL for us

To add to the great start, this happens:

I am absolutely delighted! August has been a great month!

September is coming up. What is the schedule?

SEPTSCHEDULE_zpsvajmhgvt.png

We opened our Europa League with Lille and then play Everton in the Cup.

Tottenham vs QPR:

I am absolutely gutted. I went for the win but they scored so late! There goes our unbeaten streak.

Tottenham vs LOSC Lille

Boring 0-0 draw. Both teams had chances. Their keeper made a great save and Capoue hit the bar

So far not the best start to September.

Rest of September:

Good win. Aaron Lennon wanted first team soccer, I gave him some and he scored!

Dissappointing loss. Early way home from the Capital One Cup.

Everton again! This time they were lucky though, with an own goal and penalty.

Poor month with only 1 win. Lets hope October is different

TRANSFER NEWS FROM THE WHITE HART LANE

Kristoffer Ajer:I decided to buy Kristoffer Ajer as he is very talented. At 16, he has plenty of growing to do and is a bargain at 1.2m.

Andros Townsend: With the signing of Countinho we had too many AM(RLCs) so I decided to let Andros Townsend go. No offers so far though. He was surplus.
