Had a look through the forum but couldn't find any threads on him. I have just bought him for an amazing 9 million! at the end of the first season as liverpool (he was transfer listed) was just wondering the best way to play him and which formation he fits into best

Advanced Playmaker on either the left wing or as an AMC. Since you've probably got Stevie G as AMC, go with AML, set his crossing to often if you're playing Carroll. And I'd go for a 4-2-3-1 if I were you, since it fits 'Pool best. Fast tempo, and wide, with 2 holders in midfield (rather than Def midfield)

play him as a AMC Treq, and go in advanced settings and change to this:

and set him as the playmaker in team instructions

trust me, you wont be disappointed.

Thanks a lot guys appreciate the help but unfortunately he has just gotten injured for 4 months so going to have to wait a while to try this out!

thats the big downside to silva, he gets injured so often, and has such **** stamina in-game its untrue. he's always <60% at about 80 minutes for me.
