Decades Database

Hi everyone,my mate is just finishing off a decades database which will have 6 teams all with players who reached their peaks in that decade.For example

2000's David Beckham, Ronaldinho, Michael Owen etc
1990's Zinedine Zidane, Alan Shearer, Romario etc
1980's Diego Maradonna, Van Basten Michel Platini etc
1970's Beckenbauer Pele Neeskens etc
1960's B.Charlton Garrincha Eusebio etc
1950's D.Edwards Di Stefano Puskas

He is having some trouble though with finding enough players for the 40's 30's 20's and 10's so any suggestions will appreciated.

i don't know how you hope to make a whole database of players from those decades.

this might help with some of the databases and the german fritz walter on this page made his debut in 1940 so there's one player. if i find anything else i'll post it.

cafu, blanc, hierro, n'gotty, matheus (any of the German backline from the late 80's -mid 90's), hansen, bruce, pallister, irwin, pearce, gullit.

I'll dig out some material. I have the greatest all time players encyclopedia, so I'll check that for you, or give you the title of it and you can check it out for yourself.
