Decence setups and poachers

How do I setup a strong defense with my back four without having any great individual defenders? And how do I get my poacher to make more runs? Simply cant get my poacher to score goals!

What is your formation and tactical set up. In my experience, a poacher problem is more down to lack of supply than a problem with he poacher himself.

Your back four have to got good stats in positioning,tackling and strength at least,poacher=off the ball,flair,strength and finishing if you want a lot of goals
