Since updating to 10.2 I cannot find anything near a successful tactic. Despite the tantrums and frustration at seemingly trying everything tactically I realise that most of my problems are defence related. (I have tried various good players, and tried almost everything i've found on here). The best defence I have had in a season is 40 conceded in PL, I one the league once on 10.1 and conceded 57!!!

I have now realised that something like 80% of the goals I concede are from set plays. ie crosses from free kicks into the box and corners. I seem to have 6'3" defenders getting out jumped constantly by what can only be described as midgets!!

Any tips to tighten up at the back generally would be appreciated but specifically set pieces??

Help!

P.S. No doubt I will master it and then 10.3 will be realised and as usual none of my tactics will work anymore!!

I think this is a bit of a flaw in the game really. Most of the time will be using man marking and you'll see when defending set plays how messed up it is, if the other team have 3 players in the your box then you only have their 3 markers defending them. You often see an almost empty penalty area.

I've been setting my marking to zonal instead of default so there are some defenders in the box and it helps a bit.
