Sorry if this is in the wrong section but i need help with a tactic that keeps me with more clean sheets and more possesion, currently i am top of the league, but pretty much every game i concede a goal.
i.e newly promoted Forest, and Leicster both score against me, as do Birmingham.
I am Tottenham and have a pretty decent squad.
So can somebody point me in the right direction ?

Use a bigger text mate -.-'...

If you have a defence problem try using two defensive midfielder (Palacios and Huddlestone) in games where you often concede. Play one as an anchorman/more defensive DM and the other as a DPL style player who often makes runs but is strong enough to defend and get back. I know through experience that Tottenham have a poor rightback to maybe looking at your stats of the defence maybe a good idea. Also try finding a good defensive partnership (e.g. Stopper+Cover, Double Limited etc.)

Thanks mate sorry about the text lol, in real life Right back ain't really a problem as Corluka/Hutton is a nice mix, and i never thought it was a stand out flaw on the game either haha, at the moment i'm using 1 defensive midfielder wether it be Sandro/Huddlestone/Hargreaves, im in second season so Sandro is quality. I get high possiesion against weaker teams even Everton only got 1 shot against me. So i should vary between the 1 and 2 defensive midfielders in bigger games such as United, Chelsea, Liverpool?

If your conceding because your cbs are exposed and outnumbered then its a dm setting problem. If its long shots your pressing to deep and if they are breaking through a high line then your too high. A good tip is go into games customising your cbs to mark an individual player and personally I set full backs to tight marking yes in advanced player instruct. But big games set your dm to mark the opposition playmaker and if they have a big st set your best cb marker to man mark him.

Ok thanks is there any downloadable tactics that work well in doing this? I've tweaked the 4-5-1 that Man City use and i'm playing well but still leaking goals so i'm thinking its my defenders, which are Aogo - Dawson - Fazio - Corluka, i don't really see much wrong with them four.

I'm thinking from the Tottenham 11.1/2 patch, they had a shocking rightback and corluka was always injured -.-' my bad.

Anyways in big games id prefer to play with 2 DM, one being an anchorman and especially if your L/RB are goiong forward. Make sure your anchor man is tall though (6"2' +) with good heading. Try and find a balance in your back 4 like Jimmer said. I'd prefer to play deep with a decent counter attack in Bale or Lennon with Crouch or Defoe to finish.

Yeah i think you mean Hutton by that shocking right back lol, i need to replace him ASAP!

I have got a few clean sheets on the bounce now using Sandro/Huddlestone/Hargreaves as Anchor-men, with Modric and Vaart infront of him it's working pretty decently but with Mario Gomez/Falcao as lone strikers i'm not scoring heaps.
