Has any one had much luck with this guy his stats look top notch,I am Chelsea about to start 3rd season n need a ball winning midfielder shall I buy this guy?
He would be a great signing in my opinion. I didn't mention him in the other thread because I completely forgot about him! I guess it would depend on your personal preference, and whether you want a leadership type of character or a ball winning midfielder who can spread play about (aka Xavi Alonso)
He is a quality player but I'd say Steven Defour is more of a deep lying playmaker than ball winning midfielder - he just doesn't have good enough tackling and strength stats.
