Del's 442 Out Foxed Formation

Poor old Sven, The blokes only been here for 2 seconds and he's already got the boot.

In comes unknown Leicester Born Del Pollard. There is a supporters outcry!.

3 seasons later, top of the Premiership.

Heres how I did it.

Well I'm going to be Honest with you my first season in the Championship I used Groms Universal 442.
Thankyou very much Grom it worked brilliant... Until I got to the premiership.

I get to the premiership and it goes Pear-shaped, Im struggling to get out of a relegation battle, I try all the tactics under the sun..The I decide ****** it I will make my own tactic.

So I did, And ****** **** it worked. In my first season in the premiership I finished 9th, and qualified for Europe through being a FA cup final runner up.

My tactic is a flat 442. With a box to box midfielder and a ball winning central midfielders.

I also use a target man.

First season In championship, 15 million to spend! But reputation wouldnt let me buy anyone half decent. I was lucky to have yakubu on loan, So I only bought Chris Eagles for 3.7 million and saved the rest.

First season In premiership, I bought Neymar, 20 Million(he goes to anyone in the Premiership) Eduardo 6Million, Jagielka 7.25 mil, Gamst-pederson 3.5 Mil.

Second Season In Prem bought Razvan Rat 2.7 mil, Rodwell 14.5 mil, Fellani 9.5 mil, and Samba 9 mil bought a few more but cant be bothered going through them.

With Leicester on the latest update, the new owners are there. And they arent shy with their money. So Its great.

Samba has also scored 15 goals for me this season from Corners.!

the right centre back should be tall, good at jumping and headers if you want him to bang as many goals in as your strikers!
Also try to have as many players with high teamwork, and work rate as you can. It helps!

Try it with The Foxes!, Yakubu will get you promoted.He banged 30 plus in for me. Still didnt buy him when I made it to Prem tho. haha

Picked birmingham m8 they in the champo bcz using the LFC Marshalls update hopefully get them up first season. they always give u loads of money wen u make it to the prem so its always tempting to buy buy buy lol.

Looks good mate, what type of players for each postion? standard fm stats or anything specific?
pitch size oi's and match prep would be helpful too cheers for any info.

Match Prep No special focus area.

Narrow Pitch.

Try and make it so everyone in their positions are natural.

A good box to box midfielder like Rodwell, A good ball winner like Fellaini, Target man someone with great strength and who is tall with good decision making like Lukaku or Eduardo. Work rate ,teamwork, passing and decisions are key, as this is a great controlling tactic.
Left and right midfielders, I play Henderson on the right and he is fast and skillful and on the left I have gamst Pederson , who is slow but Intelligent and has a bullet throw in.
Centre backs as strong, tall and fast as you can get, the right centre back will bang in loads of goals if he is tall, good header and good jumper.
Full backs ideally need to be fast, good crossing and 15 or more tackling.
