Detailed Coach/scout reports ?

On Player reports, Why is it that some coaches only say player x is better than our next best midfielder player y
(which doesnt really help much).

And other coaches will say player x would be a leading star for most championship clubs and is better than our
next best midfielder player y. (which does help).

Is there a certain attribute a coach needs so that he will tell me what league standard my player is ?

I think its the coachs best area - i.e a defending coach can compare defenders but not attackers? Something like that, just switch between coaches
