Diego being bad playmaker

I`m playing juventus right now,just begin...for the 1st half season,Diego playing bad and getting worse...i`m using 4-3-1-2,Diego behind the 2 strikers,Iaquinta and Amauri,and i make him an advance playmaker...his average rating is poor (6.4), and just scored 5 goals in 4 months...what should i do?

just try put him as trquerista or attacking mid support, run with ball often, through ball often, long shots sometimes, cross ball sometimes from deep, semi attacking, normal creative freedom (as he still needs to settle in at his new club) closing down half way, and dont set him as your playmaker!

Try to use him as Trequrtista or Inside forward

Like what Raikan said,don't do the obvious and put him as an Advanced Playmaker.Inside Forward or Trequartista would do the job.

Basically what everyone else has said.

AM's don't have to be playmaker's. Trequartista works well.

you can have him as your advanced playmaker, but untick ''Use playmaker'' as your players will always pass the ball to Diego , instead of looking for another player on the pitch.
