Different individual player instructions in different tactics

I don't know if this is a bug or not, I have tried to reload the save and restart FM several times and it does not change. As soon as you set an individual instruction for a player in a certain position this will override all instructions in all tactics. So if I let Glen Johnson be really agressive in my normal tactic, he will play like this in all games untill I remove his personalized instructions entirely. This would be a disaster in a difficult away game where I need my defense focused on defending (swap "get further forward" with "stay back" and so on).

With this it will be impossible to not have to go in and change the player roles each time I need to use a different tactic.

Has anyone else encountered this? Is there some mystery button hidden somewhere?

I just did another test and this applies to roles as well. You can't tell a player to play as a Full back in your defensive tactic and a Wing back in your attacking tactic. If you put Johnson as a complete wing back he will play that role even in your hard away game where you want him to play differently.

More testing: I made a new game and it was the same there. I also discovered that if you swap the position of two players in one tactic they will swap positions in all tactics.

How do you guys even play with this? :S

Hello n0ah. Did you find an answer to that yet? I've noticed (to get it worst) that the instructions you set on "any player..." don't apply to the specific player!!!
