Shochking news as Middlesbrough's manager Tony Mowbray leaves the fold at The Riverside Stadium!
Few managers have been interested in the job, they have recieved numerous applications for the position including new boy on the block Luke Walker.
Some of the top players want the managerial post resolved as soon as possible for pre-season preperation. With big names at the club like:
Jason Steele in Goal.
A true boy hood boro fan he came through Middlesbrough's youth academy. In May 2009, Steele signed a new three-year contract with Middlesbrough, which was his first professional deal.Steele was sent out on loan to Northampton Town in February 2010, in order to gain first team experience. He was impressive during his stint at Northampton, keeping four clean sheets in thirteen games and then making a breakthrough into the first tema in the 2010 2011 season when Brad Jones was transferred to Liverpool.
Rhys Williams is one of the key players in the back four at the Riverside, he is know also the captain of the club, Due to strong performances since his return from injury he was linked to several Premier League clubs in the lead up to the January 2012 transfer window including Bolton Wanderers, Newcastle United, West Bromwich Albion and Liverpool Despite speculation of a summer move, Williams penned a new four-year contract with the club, keeping him at the Riverside until 2016.Rhys has become a firm fans favourite at the Riverside Stadium under Tony Mowbray, which along with his eye-catching performances has earned him the Captain's armband on 9 August 2012
