Direct, Attacking football doesn't work!!

After creating some very sucessfull Possesion based tactics it was time to create a direct, fast paced attacking football making use of a Target Man but this simply doesn't work no matter what instructions/Formations i use. The problem is mainly consistency, i can trounce any team any day, problem is that every other game my players can't play to save their lives.

Has anyone created a good direct tactic yet?? Because i was looking for one so i could start working on my own but all i see are tactics with pretty much the same instructions.. Shorter passing and retain possesion are a must this year to be consistently good.

Seriously what's the point of playing FM if i'm using someone else's tactic?. defeats the whole purpose of the game and takes away the fun factor.

I refuse to use a super tactic, then tweak it by changing a role and/or instruction and then pretend that i'm the **** like some people do around here
 
I've managed to create a fast paced, attacking system. But I use short passing as opposed to direct passing. And it's only reliable at home (W29 D1 L0 in the league since usage). But it's not good enough away.

I meant have a look at one for ideas.

or were you looking for the answer, yes people have done it and thats it?

I think Short passing is kinda of a must run shout this year. i'm really looking to create a fast paced, few touches tactic. I'm trying with a Stronger team (Atletico Madrid) get it to work nd then move to LLM.

I'm 10 games into the Liga BBVA and i have 9 wins and 1 loss (away to Real) and i've won the Spanish Supercup. but it's still very inconsistent.

Yeah short passing is the way to go. All my successful counter attacking tactics use short passing as well.
 
Hey, I'm experimenting with a direct passing tactic right now, and so far has been good. However, I'm only 5 games into the season, have beaten Benfica 3-0 away as Roma. 2-1 away vs Sassuolo, and 1-0 Home vs Verona (pretty poor second half). So, if it turns out that this works consistently then I could help you.

I'm being quite sucessfull aswell but it could be a result of me managing Atletico Madrid.. I'll post the tactic and results after the Arsenal game

You're probably playing on a short pitch where direct passing wont work well.
