Direct Free - kicks

Hi everybody,
is it me, or the amount of goals scored from direct free kicks is significantly lower in this version? I don't recall I single goal scored or even conceded by a direct free kick

aye mate...i think in my last season (BSP) there was only somein like 5 direct freekicks scored in the whole division!
although im happy to say, that ive scored once this season, with a little help from their keeper lol

I think it's lower. I've scored one direct free kick in 1 and a half seasons. Good thing the one that did go in was worth two points.

How good is your taker and are you including indirect free-kicks as well?

Free kicks aren't that common IRL, however they are somewhat underpowered in FM and it has been noted by SI

Sahin scored them first season, second onward was Gerrard and regens.
All direct free-kicks, including indirect goals probably 15-20.

Woah, that's good. I played with Liverpool for a bit but Gerrard and Sahin never scored them for me.

I've noticed indirect free-kicks from deep tend to be the most lethal, have them aim for best header and have one of your CB's run from deep into the box.
