Director of Football and B Sides

I've moved the players i want from my first team squad down to my B Team, but i got a news feed message stating some had been moved back up and a couple of others sent down??

I presume my DOF has made this decision? can this be changed or do i have to get rid of him to make sure the squads stay split as i want them too??
