Hey folks, after over 25 years playing championship and football manager I find the current FM21 one of the easiest versions of the game. I've seen people suggest that the dumbing down of the game is to make it more playable to the masses etc. I'm not sure what happened but I find the AI transfers and tactics very limited, making it easy to rack up wins, trophies and promotions with any team you pick. I'd be interested in hearing people's ideas on making the game harder! I've included a few I already do, below;

* No use of the editor or pre-saved player shortlists.
* Use attribute masking.
* Disallow transfers in the first window.
* Make your own tactic and playing philosophy.
* Only hire staff based on your own knowledge of staff or from applicants to job openings.
* Use scouting team to identify transfer targets.
* Self limit the amount of foreigners in your first team (i.e. the Bilbao model except allowing for say.. 3 South American wonderkids).
* Sign staff who have links to your country or speak the same language (i.e. signing a great Brazilian physio to Burnley isn't very realistic)

If you guys have any more suggestions please let me know!
