But on FM, players with the shoots from distance PPM take a pop from ridiculous distances, and very rarely get in on target let alone score. Cazorla and Michu regularly have 8+ shots each in a game from out side the box, usually only get 2 or 3 between them on target.
Basically, I would be fine with good players occasionaly shooting from distance, but in real life you don't see players having 10+ shots a game from barely inside - sometimes outside - the final third, getting only a few on target and never scoring. And as I said, in real life if you specifically told a player to stop shooting, I doubt they would keep doing it as much for long.
Literally just sold Cazorla on deadline day of 2nd season purely because of this.
