i have used this tactic for newcastle united in my first season didnt have much of a team just mostly what you start with at newcastle. in my second season now and not lost 1 match only at the begining but only lost 1 goal. eh bought a few players now and it still works a treat try it let me know what you think.

p.s dont know how to up load pics if u tell me i can do it strait away

Very poor formation to be using with Newcastle's starting team, you would have to have a very different squad to be able to use that effectively and event then its not something i would use.

What tactic would you suggest with Newcastles starting line up?

I'm just on 4-4-2 trying out the diiferent mentality styles from TT&F.

it all depends on how you want or have strengthend your team...but..i would say..organise the defence so that they know exactly what their doing(you dont want them to try and create to much or wondor up the pitch(apart from full backs) etc...they have hard working midfielders so make sure they close down often and spread wide...quickly. i would set martins(and owen if hes not injured) as a target man(and set target man supply to..run on to) so you use him to his asset(pace).

Go to tactics and use the 4-4-2 attacking tactic against easy/ mid teams and then use the 4-3-3 defensive formation against tough teams. No need to make up fancy tactics as those two work great.

any tactics suits any team..just you got to have the right players aswell..and getting the balance right..

then your team are unstoppable.

Il giv it a go for my newcastle team. cheers
