Hi guys ive been looking at a long save (10+ seasons) and been looking at Arsenal, Man Utd but noticed their debts not payed off until 2029 and 2017 respectivly. Think Man Utds repayments including intrest is something like ^ of £8mil a month. so does this major monthly out going hinder a team?

Long story short, No. Not that I've seen.
I have 2 games that I holidayed for 10 years for someone, and in both games, Man Utd were still challenging for the Premier League. Won it couple of times, came runners up couple times and were third the rest. And I believe the debts were all cleared. I also had a look at the transfers and some season it was £50mil+ transfers in.

unless u buy players for enourmous amounts of money, it dosent really makes any difference imo..

I see where your coming from Puddz, I guess by 2017 when Man Utds debts are paid up you could really kick on a dominate the footballing world with their sponsorship and potential compitition, ticket and tv revenue.

Also I don't think the game add's any debt to teams. During takeovers or just loans for stadium expansions. Never really seen it.
So that sort of helps with clubs getting debt free since they aren't being given more debt.
