I was just wondering, will a tactic still work once promoted, because I am using Complete Dominance and one of my major "morals" shall we say, is that I hate changing tactics. Sticking to a tactic is the best recipe for success and once promoted I would much prefer not to be changing this but I am doubtful that going into Serie B with Overload on is going to go down to well.

I've took East Stirlingshire to the SPL using Complete Dominance but I'm getting hammered left right and centre. I'm taking more digs than Ricky Hatton!! But its my opinion is that its not the tactics that's the problem, its the First/Second division players I have playing for me in the SPL

I agree but if I don't want to change my team too much because that effects the harmony and I don't want to change tactic because that does the same thing.. Whats there to do?
Sounds like a no win situation to me.

unlucky mate, you've now got the fun task of slowly selling off the poorer players, and replacing them with better ones. its a bad choice either way, but if your players arent good enough you have to start overhauling. ive never played with that tactic so i dont know how flexible it is, but you'll certainly wanna play more defensive when you get promoted (thats why i dont like tactics with too many tweaks, they become too inflexible) if you team has the pace try playing more counter attacking football

with southampton i used jp woody tactic and when i got my first promotion i changed and tweaked it a bit and then again when i got promoted. i think you will see in your first few games whether the tactic will work for you.

cheers guy i think i should be alright in serie b as the jump isn't too huge, serie a is the one im worrying about. suppose i shall conisder it when i get there aye
