Ive lost 3 league games in a row, playing normal standard tactics and just get completely outplayed. Seriously don't get it.

Could be a whole number of things, though not making any subs probably isn't helping.

What are the whole number of things? People say this is the most realistic version ever and this happens...

So teams never lose 4-0 in REAL life. How many people would rage if you drew 4-4 after holding a 4-0 lead? Happened in real life.

well its been only 3 games...and you are bolton... ;) try changing tactics

Mmm, I think actually I'm going to manage my own team, Arsenal. Know everything about them, and should just be easier, and can edit players accordingly

Well if a poor manager were to take over Bolton in real life, I think something similar would happen.

I get what you mean guys, but you cant deny Bolton are a good team and just getting absoloutely dominated by teams 4 games in a row just doesnt happen for a side like them

Confidence, tactics, fitness, weather, bad luck. Not all, but those are examples.

It can happen to anyone! Look at Chelsea form this season. They even lost 3-0 at home to Sunderland at one point.

EDIT. Sorry, didn't realize you'd said you were going to Arsenal. :P Good luck. :)

No worries buddy, nice to get a good positive reply :) cheers

Yeah, and I just lost 4-0 to Celtic -_- in CL with Dortmund 3rd season (won Bundesliga 1st and 2nd). Kind a unlucky.

jsut a general tip if you find you run into the same problem again but definately keep an eye on player fitness and ratings. if someone's having a bad game at halftime the either encourage them or tell them your disappointed in them. team talks can be very important in this game and you need to know what the right thing to say to your players is, which i don't think can be taough only learned through experience of dealing with the players. also if you give repetitive team talks then the players take a i've heard it all before attitude.

I think a lot of players respond differently as well? I think your supposed to check the screen that tells you their response each match in order to give everyone the right one but to be honest, can't be arsed doing that between every match. XD But yeah, very important. Good point, sammyt. :)

as a general rule of thumb i tend to look at players temprament. e.g if someone like rooney doesn't play well then i tell them i'm disappointed in them and it fires them up to play better but players like berbatov are confidence players and you have to encourage them.

it seems evry subjective from player to player at first but once you've managed your squad for a few games then you will start to learn how to make the individual players tick and once your a few seasons in or a few games in and have managed a variety of players you start to see groups of players and shared charecteristics between different players. e.g. scholes, cattermole, barton and players like that tend to be aggressive so you need to try to calm them down and it might be beneficial to drop them to teh bench for a game or 2 if they've been fired up recently.

Haha, that's actually very helpful. :) Although, because I'm in the year 2037, I can't just look at a player's name and know what he's like...:( Thanks! :)
