His stats are more balanced, and he performs more consistently as well; thanks to his mental attributes. Draxler on the other hand is technically slightly better than Reus, but his other attributes really lets him down.
I'm sure Reus is world class, but for me the long term choice is Draxler.
I bought him at the start of a Man Utd save and it's my 3rd season in, couldn't have asked for a better inside forward/playmaker as he seems equally adept at both roles alongside Januzaj and James Rodriguez, another great inside forward.
His stats by now equal and possibly edge out Reus' at the start of the game, even when Reus would be two years older than him.
Performance-wise, he's simply gotten better and better every season, and has just won a well-deserved World Player of the Year award. These are his stats over the last three seasons:
So although he may not be as prolific as Reus at the start of the game and may cost a few mil more, I think 3 or 4 seasons in, you'll see why he is certainly the better investment. And this is him at 22, can't wait to see how he'll shape up in his true prime.
