If true, this will probably be his final contract with the club. He's getting on in age now, and with players like Torres & Sturridge bringing some serious competition, by 2013 Drogba will be out of the equation.

Good idea really, he is definatly needed this season and if things didnt work out this season then we would have lost him for nothing. Atleast this way if he is on his way out at the end of this season we will get some sort of money for the lad.
