Dual Manager Of National And Club but cannot select own club players.

Alright i am in year 2013 and currently managing the Spain national team as well as Chelsea. Now the problem is i cannot call up Spanish players in my Chelsea team for the national team. (Torres, David Silva, Manzano *regen* ) I have the option for my national team ***. man to give me scout reports but i just simply cannot call them for national team. I mean when i right click on their name there is no option to call them up. I am pretty sure you could do this in FM 2010 unless there is a new rule which does not allow you to call your own club players. Am i missing something?

Have You ever withdrawn those players from their national squad? if you havent then i dont know what it is :s

well yeah but that was for a friendly and that too when i was not the national team manager. Now the World Cup Qualifiers are going on so i should b able to call them as a replacement for someone. Also i noticed on the player's profiles it shows the status Withdrawn from International Squad..for how long will this be? Also my regen was in under 18 national team so i now saw the option to move him to national squad so apparently he is in. Which means i can call my own club players. Just wondering why not for Silva and Torres.

does the assistent recommend them in potential squads? if so you may have to use one of his squads to get them back in and remember not to pull them out again.

No he did not! Infact my assistant is the same for my club as he is for Spain (Gabriele Pin). I am now waiting for the world cup finals to begin maybe i can choose them then. Or a friendly after i am done with my club season.

I think this is a bug.. I saw everywhere in the forum, they mention that once you've withdrawn your player from international squad, they will not be available for selection any more in the future. its a bug.

Well is it because i am the Coach of the Spain squad? or is it so that even if I wasn't they would still not feature in the National Side? Even the news or press conferences don't seem to mind the fact that stars like Silva, Torres and De Gea(forgot to mention him) are not featuring in the squad and neither are the players unhappy about not being selected.....now that i think of it i dont remember withdrawing De Gea coz he is my 2nd choice keeper and i always sent my 2nd choice players out for international friendlies to gain experience. So i am pretty sure i have never withdrawn De Gea. Also i don't know if this is related but Petr Cech, Sanchez, Pjanic and Neymar don't appear for their respective national teams either! Sanchez and Neymar are red hot, banging a goal every 2 games, Pjanic was the freaking European Player of The Year last year. If it truly is a bug..can someone point me to the right thread?

Err to those who still care....this is a confirmed bug. No hopes of a new patch. The SI community forums are down. The only way to fix this is apparently to use something called as FMRTE i heard it had something to do with changing the player's profile.

I've withdrawn players from my Cameroon squad then been able to re-select them in my next squad.. Maybe it is because you are their club manager, glitch maybe.

You see that's what i thought earlier but then I noticed players like Petr Cech, Alexis Sanchez, Pjanic (European Player of the Year) were'nt getting called to their respective national teams. Did some research definitely a bug existing only in 11.3 patch i guess. The FMRTE solution works for me, to anyone interested Download FMRTE, start up FM and load your savegame, open the FMRTE window and click Load Game and then in the search box enter the name/s of the bug players, in their profile click on the relations tab and find the entry which says unknown and has the value 50 (wont work for other fields) and change it to likes person and set it to whomever u want. Click on save changes and mostly the results will be immediate if not try forwarding the game.
