I wouldn't label him as a 'russian messi'. Besides, there is no point paying for him if you can get him on a free transfer 6 months into the first season.

On my save I have only just made December so he hasn't signed for me yet, I have taken the chance to sign him on a free transfer to fit into my system of playing with an AMC. With that I can't recommend whether you should or not, hopefully someone on this forum can. You could try asking here:

Have him coming to my Utd side on the free, even if he does not fit in too well he can be sold on for a decent price so win win for me

That was theory, I had that with Kagawa on FM 2011. He turned out to be rubbish for me so sold for a nice profit

It is not like he will be a massive big money flop, so it is worth the risk IMO

Exactly, I think the contract that was agreed is around 38k a week wages. So even if he is rubbish, as long as I sell him for more than around £900k come July 2013, I will make money from selling him on
