Since February 2008, the club has been owned by the web-based venture MyFootballClub, whose members may vote on team selection and player transfers, instead of those decisions being made exclusively by the club's management and staff as at most other clubs.[2]
MyFootballClub is an EnglishIndustrial and Provident Society that sought, starting in August 2007, to recruit at least 50,000 football enthusiasts from across the world to purchase an English association football club. MyFootballClub's premise is to allow its paid members to control the club through a democratic voting process conducted over the internet. Member voting includes matters both on the pitch, such as team selection and player transfers, and off the field, like what type of food to serve at the stadium.[1
Does that help a bit more with understanding the question?
That's right thanks nursemorph! Guess there isn't many on the forum, I'm just enjoying having a say in things like actual transfers and match squads instead of FM ones haha.
that's a lot of people, so how unique is your vote with that many other people voting too.
Anyway Ebbsfleet look safe this year to fight in BSP again, but that site needs more members to renew to help ebbsfleet finances
Yeah. That would be the thing. A lot of people registered and gave money at the start, for some probably cos it was a novelty. What happens when the novelty has worn off? And the current economic climate?
