Is it possible to set up a game to start midway through the league campaign and replicate the fixtures that have passed?

You can't replicate the fixtures but if you load up a nation such as Sweden or Ireland then you can chose to start in Jan/Feb 2010, which is midway through the campaign.

Nah, really wanted to set the table out as it is now, have never used FMRTE but might that be the answer?

Well FMRTE does let you edit the table but I don't think it can edit every fixture or somebody would have done it.
