Editor Problem

Earlier on I opened the editor to try and update transfers, I succeeded, but when I try to open it later it comes up with these messages:

"Unable to find some essential data. Please ensure that the game is installed correctly. If this problem persists, please contact technical support."

"Failed to find a default database to use. Please make sure your installation is not corrupt."

Any idea how to fix this?

Uninstall and reinstall the game. Also, make to use 'SAVE AS' when using the editor. Merging files and stuff can be a pain. Let me know how you get on.

you need to reinstall your game mate and download the update 1.0.3 again sorry

it's ok mate -- you won't loose any data that you've added on (apart from patches) -- just move any save files and graphics that you've added to another folder before you do it (just as a backup.)

I have steam! Does this affect it? I mean I got a load of sounds, ad boards, kits, transfer updates, will these go?

now that I don't know, but there are loads of steam users on here. one of them will stumble upon this thread at some point. Or try searching for info on steam via the live search bar at top right of page.
