How do you use FMRTE with steam ?

You have to donate for the full FMRTE though (1 Euro). You basically just load up your game, and just load up FMRTE after installing. However it is risky as it may (and I stress may) corrupt your save or have bugs that may ruin the save. Just go the FMRTE official site to get it.

Better off with the official data editor imo

jord2009, I think you are getting fmrte and the game editor mixed up.

The game editor is free. Im was developed by SI. You down load it from steam. You use it to alter/correct/tweek/cheat the database before you begin a new game.
FMRTE (Football Manager Real Time Editor) is a privately created programme. You can download it for free from the FMRTE website( there is a link in the Tools tab at the top of the page). As it was produced privately, the guys who did all the work have put a pass encription on it, and you must pay them the massive sum of 1 euro for all there hours of work before you can use it properly. With this tool, you can edit your existing game as you play. Or use it as a scout to see which youngsters have a high PA.
