I know there's a general thread..
But I skimmed through it and I can't find something pertaining to allowing me to use the edited database, be it merging it into a saved game or a new game..

How does one edit the database and merge it with a saved game?

Also, even though I have edited the database, it doesn't seem to allow me to save it into the database..
Such that after quitting the editor, my changes are gone.. And I'd have to "load" the changes in it again..

Anyone knows how to work this?

What about merging it into the database so that a NEW game can have it?
In the editor click 'save as' and type in a name

How do i download/use the database in my game?
1 - Click on the link that we provide
2 - Save to - Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2011/editor data
3 - Run Game, click New Game and check the little tick box to the bottom of the database select screen.
4 - Next screen, select the DB(s) you want to use.
5 - Click OK/Confirm.
6 - Choose nations, and away you go

Follow from step 3
