So guys, some of you might know me from the older days whenI managed to create two unbeatable 4231 tactics in FM11 and FM12. It took me a lot of time to adapt to the new tactic creator and the roles and due to university and my job, I wasn't into FM for a long while... But nevertheless, I started a fun save with Red Bull Leipzig in the Bundesliga and my aim was to create a tactic that is build upon a realistic formation and has some balance. Lots of the tactics uploaded here are either too offensive or too defensive. So it was a real challenge and took me 2 whole days to test it and to tweak it. I have almost played with the same shape and the same settings for two seasons. The only tweaks and changes were done to passing, marking, whether to use wing play or not, and minor settings, such as overlap or not etc... It was always the same, started very well, finished first half of season perfectly but then came the downfall... However, I had a lot of trust in the foundation of the tactic, as I finished the first season as second with miles ahead of the third. So I knew, it has some potential with the perfect tweaks... Towards the end of the second season, I changed my CFs role from support to attacking, which was the key to the success. So I need some testers, who want to test the tactic with its very latest tweak. Due to my master thesis, I don't have that much time to test it in detail.
Here are some information: So no OIs. No specific PPMs required, even though I would recommend to have at least one IF with "Comes deep to collect the ball". Forsberg does it for me and he kinda plays like a playmaker and his statistics are amazing. One of the IFs should be a striker type player. Look at Poulsen for my Red Bull side, he has scored the most goals. In the back, look for players that are solid defensively. I would rather have a full back that is quick and has a good sense of position play than one, who is a technician but is awful defensively. Your key players are going to be your two playmakers and the CF. I recommend you to try to get your CF to learn the ppm "Come deep to get the ball". As an attacking CF, he will act like a supporting CF, but will always be in the box, when crosses come. I play with Werner, who doesnt have it and he still comes deep due to his role as a CF and roaming. Look for a dlp that is solid defensively. I used two players, who were ball winning midfielders, but had some solid passing and vision. Of course, if you are Real Madrid, you can also afford one dlp that is very solid defensively and very creative. I don't take care for teamtalks and also training is done by my assistants. So I would welcome every single member who gives it a go!
