Hi all,

I'm in the Premier League with QPR, my keepers out now for three months and I only have a young reserve from Man Utd (Johnstone) in the squad. I'd like to get a keeper in on the Emergency Loan rule, which it appears you can do from the rules tab in the league. But does anyone know how I can do this?

Thanks.

Could be wrong but I thought the emergency loan rule only applied if you had no GKs in the squad, so you might be stuck with your reserve.

Are you currently not in the loan window? That's closed for like a month and a half from November something until January.

If you're in the Premier League you can only sign goalkeepers on loan deals if you're outside the transfer window.

I haven't managed in the Premier League on this FM so it might be different but on previous ones it didn't matter how many fit goalkeepers you had in your squad, you could just loan in any goalie you could get.

All you have to do is offer to make a loan offer in the usual way as you would in any transfer window. The only thing you need to be aware of is that the player has to be from another English club otherwise you won't be able to get him until the opening of the next transfer window.

Hope that helps.

Aha! That'll be it, I've been trying to bring someone in from Italy, not the UK. Nice one thanks!
