With Euro 2016 beginning the call to International management was too strong for me so i thought i would take charge of my country England, The overall aim is to Win a trophy either the Euro's or World Cup, i have no time limit so it could be in 2 years or 20 years im not sure. Im a big stats man so will be just as keen to see some of our youngsters go on to break all sorts of records for the team.

Harry Kane got us off the perfect start netting inside the opening minute before John Stones got his first goal for England with a good header from a set piece.
We made it 3-0 with AOC netting from a Sterling cross, those two had very good games before Milner latched onto another one of Sterling's crosses to secure the win.
Alli, Dier, Drinkwater and Cresswell all made their International debuts

We Qualify for Euro 2016 with 3 games to spare after 7 straight wins in the group stage

We opened up the scoring with the wingers AOC and Sterling linking up well again with Sterling crossing the ball in and AOC getting a toe on the end of it, we sealed the win in a rather poor display after Tottenham team mates Walker and Alli linked up well late on to grab the second. It was Alli's first goal for England in only his 2nd appearance whilst Chris Smalling made it 20 England Caps.



So theres are first couple of games all done with, Nothing special about the wins but im still learning what is my best tactic and team, up next is Estonia and Switzerland in the Euro Qualifiers next month,

This was another terrible performance and we re lucky to come away with the win after our subs did the job the starting 11 could not. Vardy and Sturridge came off the bench to net our goals with all 3 of them coming from crosses by either our wingers or full backs, We still managed to concede twice whilst this was Vardy's first set of goals for England and Sterling made his 20th appearance for us.

John Stones is the latest England player to pick up a knock and will be replaced by Ryan Shawcross for the last game

The Oxe is the 3rd player in recent days to pull out of the squad due to injuries and is replaced by Man Utd winger Jesse Lingard.

We make it the perfect 10 out of 10 in Qualifying with the win over the Swiss with Kyle Walker putting in yet another fine performance at RB setting up the goal for Sterling before Harry Kane made it 2-0 just after the break from a Ward-Prowse cross. We concede with 20 minutes to go to give the match a nervy end but managed to hold out, Lingard made his England debut whilst Jordan Henderson has no played 25 times for England!

Top our group by 11 points with the Swiss in 2nd

We face the Czech Republic and Portugal in our next couple of friendlies with the big squad announcements including Theo Walcott being dropped whilst Berahino and Jordon Ibe could make their England debuts

Jordon Ibe has an England debut to remember netting a beautiful brace to seal the win, they got a goal back not long after the second goal but Sterling netted a late 3rd, our tactic really shows how reliant we are on the wingers to grab goals.

AOC does what all of my wingers do best, one winger runs to the corner knocks the ball to the far post and the other winger (AOC) has an easy tap in from behind the keeper, this goal was less than a minute into the match, Ronaldo equalized around 10 minutes in before Pepe did what he does best and thats foul Milner who scored the penalty from it.

Berahino has been brought on once so far in his England career and hes already looking to move on from West Brom because it.

We get drawn against Poland, Russia and Scotland in the Euro's all 3 are ranked in the late twenties in the World Rankings whilst we are 6th so it should be on paper a straightforward group.

I have made a a lot of my choices due to club form which is why the likes of Calum Wilson and Marc Albrighton have been given a chance in the prelim squad, whilst GK Garratt may get into the side with Jack Butland having a shocker of a season according to the media, Wayne Rooney is the big shock to miss out as the Captain has netted just 4 times in 30 games for Man Utd in the league this season.

The strikers are chose for the Euro's is going to be the big decision for me to make with Wilson and Vardy coming into the squad after really good seasons for their squad

Leighton Baines makes his first England squad since i took charge after battling back from a bad injury and putting in some decent performances for Everton since then but hes unlikely to make the final squad with Shaw and Cresswell ahead of him in the pecking order

In the domestic season Arsenal won the League by a massive 16 points whilst Harry Kane has been in a lot better form for Tottenham than he has been Internationally as hes the leagues joint top scorer.

Kane got 24 goals in all competitions, Vardy 21, Wilson 18 and Sturridge 16 whilst Rooney got less than 5.

Im all about the in form players for this tournament so the likes of Kyle Walker who has been okay for me has missed out after playing just 8 times for Tottenham this season with Eric Dier ahead of him in the pecking order whilst i let Ben Garratt have the 3rd place in the GK department after a stellar season with Crewe he has now agreed to join Everton after the Euro's, Baines and Milner also miss out.

This was a really tough and competitive game to play in right before the Euro's our match fixer is killing us with the players knackered before we even start the Euro's, Giovinco netted a brace for them with Wilson getting a goal back.

We were all over them with Vardy getting the goal to seal the win late on after coming off the bench in a game where our strikers were all over them but couldnt find the back of the net. There were a fair few milestones too with Clyne winning his 10th cap, Sturridge 25th and AOC getting his 30th.

Russia went ahead early on before we equalized through Jamie Vardy who started this match after his goal winning display in the previous game, before Walcott came off the bench to smash in two late goals and seal the win. Dele Alli got his 10th cap aswell.

We just about won the match despite playing with a few of the second string as we came from behind twice to win the match and record a perfect 3 wins from 3 in the group stages, On the milestones front Walcott got his 10th International goal, Sterling made it 30 caps whilst Smalling netted his 1st England goal.

We top the Group with Poland making second place
