I was wondering what does fabio capello call his strongest starting 11?

In my mind i have something like this

James
Johnson-Terry-Ferdinand-Ashley cole
barry lampard
lennon gerrard joe cole
rooney

I think england cannot depend on 2 strikers since they are so unpredictable, just asking your thoughts, post up your best 11

I would go for(4-4-2)
Green
Johnson - Terry - Upson - A.Cole
Lennon - Gerrard - Barry - J. Cole
Rooney - Defoe
Subs
GK - James
FB - W. Bridge
CB - Ferdinand
Winger - S.W.P
CM - Lampard
CM - Carrick
ST - Crouch

There are a couple others that I could have picked, but that is what I would go for. I still dont see the connection in Central Midfield between Gerrard and Lampard, hence Lampard being on the bench.

4-4-2

GK - Robinson
DEF - A.Cole, Johnson, Terry, (Jagielka :D) Ferdinand
MID - J.Cole, Walcott, Gerrard, Lampard
ATT - Rooney & Crouch

Robinson
Johnson Terry Rio Cashley

Theo * Lamps Lampard Joe Cole*

Gerrard

Wazza

*If fully fit

James
Johnson Lescott Terry Bridge

Wright- Phillips Lampard Gerrard Young

Rooney Agbonlahor/ bent

yes i am, i think lescott is quality, bridge is better than cole, was proved today, aaron lennon is over rated and swp was class today also, man city are the most under rated team in the world imo, ridiculous we have great players

wouldn't say bridge is better than cole just because he a had a gud game. arron lennon is not overrated, imo he is pretty under-rated mate, dont think anyone has even rated man city yet like, use drew 7matches in a row before todays win, use need to get rid of hughes and bring in a top manager and then build from there but thats just my opinion.

he is over rated, he has speed and then hes like, oh what now i have no finishing product, if anyone ashley young is better

Englands XI 4-5-1
R.Green
A.Cole J.Terry R.Ferdinand G.Johnson
G.Barry
J.Cole M.Carrick A.Lennon
S.Gerrard (going in more of a strikers position)
W.Rooney

Subs:
J.Hart
M.Upson
M.Richards
F.Lampard
D.Beckham
P.Crouch
J.Defoe

I pick Carrick because he is England's only central playmaker and placing balls outwide to lennon to cross in the box could be lethal. Bringing on Crouch or Defoe part way through a game could make a diffeence rather than starting them.

Imo Lescott is absolute s**t. Bridge is better than Cole imo, Lennon is not over-rated and swf is good but not as good as some players.

My Starting Eleven:
Hart
*Carr-*R.Johnson-Terry-A.Cole
Lennon-Barry-Gerrard-Young/Milner
Rooney-Defoe
Subs
James
G. Johnson
Ferdinand
Walcott
Lampard
Jerome
C. Cole
*Only if they can keep up their recent form

Aaron Lennon is not over rated he is probably the best winger england have got at the moment a lot better than swp and he can finish hes shown that this season and is improving all the time he has got to be in the squad as walcott is not fit to play right now and i still would have lennon over walcott any day.

4-3-3
GK: Foster
RB: Johnson
CB: Ferdinand
CB: Terry
LB: Cole

CM: Gerrard
CM: Hargreaves (holding)
CM Lampard

ST: Rooney (centre)
ST (Left side): Agbonlahor
ST (right side): Walcott
thats what i use on fifa
oh and people just ignore Joe he wants attention

Silly, did I see someone say Bridge is better than Cole, Cole is one of the most consistent left backs of the last ten years, Bridge has been error prone the majority of this season, in my view, Baines and Warnock are of equal ability if not better than Wayne Bridge.

Whoops, just realised you're right about Cole and Brisge, just gonna change that.

I would go for a 433 Arsenal style:

Gk: Joe Hart
Rb: Glen Johnson
Lb: Ashley Cole
Cb: John Terry
Cb: Rio Ferdinand

Cdm: Hargreaves(fully fit tho)/Barry
Cm: Frank Lampard
Cm: Steven Gerrard

Rw: Milner/Lennon
Lw: Joe Cole/Ashley Young
St: Wayne Rooney/Crouch(plan b)

Thats mine.

GK Foster

ST Rooney, Owen

.... just kidding!!

GK - James
DF - Brown, Ferdinand, Terry, A Cole
