English Players

Hi guys, I am about to start a new save with Arsenal, however I am making myself the challenge of making them an ALL English side..... that is right nothing but ENGLISH players.

Now the fact that the team start with very little players, I am going to find it hard, firstly to bring in the higher profile english 'stars' as they will come with a hefty price tag..... so I was wondering if people can tell me of their personal experience of games who plays well and what players to look out for (who would usually get over looked)

It would also be a big help if people who are 3-5 years in on games could tell me of English players who have developed in to first team premiership players so I can buy in some youngsters to develop and filter in to my team at the beginning.

Try Tom Cairney, i know people say he is in Scottish but in my game, he is playing for the england team at 24 years old.

Jack Wilshire is in your rank and he is very versatile in the attack midfield area, Henri Lansbury is also in your rank and play him as he is good.

james tomkins is also good and versatile.

also in your 2nd year of the game, try to find regen as they have huge potential then the current english players
 
Phil Jones - Blackburn.

Shouldn't cost too much.
Can play in starting line up as youngter and develops into England first team about 2/3 years on.

yes him too, i bought him for 9 million and be ever present since for my wigan team
 
Hart, Smithies

Phil Jones, Spence, Mancienne, Jagielka, Shawcross, Gibbs, Baines

Milner, A Young, A Johnson, Walcott, Rodwell, Henderson, Wilshere, Shelvey, Albrighton

Wickham, Delfouneso, Agbonlahor, Defoe, Carroll

This shoud help mate, players highlighted in bold are who I'd recommend.
 
Cheers for the quick feedback lads, keep the names coming, I am going to need a lot as I am hoping to get a quick turn around and manage to get a starting 25 of english players before the start of the season (I may struggle, but I will try my best)

Also any staff people know of..... I would like to make it complete with a whole ENGLISH back room team also.

yes jack rodwell is also a must buy, i bought him for a bargain for 5 million as he was unsettled and he is also one of my ever present players in my wigan game.

Kieran Gibbs is also in your rank and he is good as he has speed to torment slow defenders. Miles Addison is also a good player, Fabian Delph is good in the wing, Jonjo Shelvey is also good but good luck for luring him from Liverpool, Tom Cleverley is good but lack physical traits, Junior Stanislas is also good as he came form west ham famed academy,Theo Walcott is also in your team as he is a speedster but lack physical traits, Daniel Sturridge and Nathan Delfouneso are also good speeders but lacked physical traits and may demand huge wages, Connor Wickham to me is the best england prospect but not in my game. he still may have some hope to be good unless you play him in game that you can afford to tie or lose, Andy Carroll is tall and have good technical traits and he may come cheaply at all

other prospect such as Joe mattock, Jack Hobbs, Ryan Bertrand, Dan Gosling, George Thorne, Jose Baxter are also prospect you should look at.

But remember you must play each of them as they need to improve their freaking in my opinion LOW STATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
 
I am only at the start of 2013 in the save I have up right now so no new faces have broken into the English team but looking at the under 21 squad a few that you could probably land and would be useful at Arsenal would be:

Spence: costs you around 3-3.5 million at the start and is a good DC early on
Cairney: similar price to Spence and worth every last bit of it. Get play maker even just a few seasons in

Lot of more obvious names like Welbeck, Shevley, Henderson, Jones, and Walker


I would say that hardest part of this approach is going to be finding strikers and keepers since the choices in these two spots are a bit more limited and all the best ones will cost a fair bit. For striker Harry Kane is probably worth the 4 mill he might cost you but he is still a few years away from being usable in the premiership. Would likely go with hart in goal plus Smithies for the future. But Birmingham has a real young keeper that can develop nicely if looked after properly
 
ive done an all british team on my middlesbrough save had some great results aswell including winning championship finishing 4th them 5th in the next 2 seasons in prem hes screenshots of my squad
