In the second season of the Premier League, they've introduced the new quota; something i find incredibly annoying, especially when my team (liverpool) lacks english talent. Plus there isn't that much english talent on the game that turn into the next big thing or their overpriced!. Does anyone else find this very annoying?

I'm not sure but you can just holiday the day when you have to register players and it sorts itself out.

i know what you mean when im in the lower leagues my teams are made up of 75% english players but only a few of them are good enough from a decent prem side, i just look around for regens as most of the good english prospects have allready been bought by the 2nd/3rd season

Is it just luck if there are good young english players? or have they on purpose trying to prove a point that england need to sort out their new crop of english players.

I find it a much bigger challenge since this was introduced. Try picking Arsenal/Liverpool now ;-)

In all fairness, most clubs have plenty of Home-Grown Talent, but most are way off the first team. I had to drop Beckham from my Celtic CL Squad in Season 2 as I needed 1 extra spot for a Club-Grown Player. Gutted!

It's nice to see once again that FM has added future rules into the game, and next Season IRL should be very interesting, can see certain teams having MAJOR problems! But rightly so, every country should be encouraged to have Club-Grown Player Limits, and personally i'd have loved to have seen this introduced much sooner . . .
