Error Code 80 on Steam- what does this mean and, more importantly, what can I do?

I have been playing FM 2010 since lunchtime until about 2, came off and then decided to come on here. I then felt like I wanted to do some searching on the game, try and load it and IT'S NOT WORKING!! :' (

What is error code 80?

Managed to load it again after closing down the laptop and booting it up again.
But looking around the web, it seems code error 80 is a problem for quite a few Steam users.

"While not an actual solution, I've been able to circumvent this problem by closing Steam, and re-opening it. This will allow you to launch the game successfully, but only once. If you quit the game, and try to launch it again, it won't work. To get it to launch again, simply repeat the process - close Steam, re-open it."

From some website blog thing.. Basically just restart steam and the game will load.. Although it's not a fix.
