Have you tried verifying the game cache via steam?

no can u please explain how to do that im hopeless on computers

Go into Steam, right click on the game in your library, then go into properties, click on local files tab, then click on the tab that says verify integrity of game cache

Only thing can think of would be to try and reinstall it/redownload from Steam and see what happens
