I have played FM for ages and every new game I create a tactic, this is my tactic for the 2015 version and the first one I have posted, as it has proved my most succesfull ever. With this tactic my Man U team have achieved 3 seasons in a row unbeaten (148 game streak total) as well as a 42 game winning streak, in a season where we won 37 of 38 in the league. Unfortunately the other game that season was lost, the game that ended both those sequences, against Q.P.R of all teams! Grrr.

This tactic is quite attaking, and will produce lots of goals, especially at home although I use it away from home as well even in big games.
This incarnation of the tactic is the best so far with Man U, however when managing teams with less quality I change the central midfielders to roles more suited to the players skills. And a slight variation on this tactic has lead me to sucess in the MLS and also in the Brazilian League. You will see below SS' of my Club World Chamionship victory with Gremio, beating Real Madrid 4-1, as well as my 37 win league season with Man U, 152 goals scored!

Key parts of the tactic:

-You play a very high defensive line, so you will need quick defenders.
-You play a high pressing, so good work rate is advisable across the park
-Plays best with 1 wide playmaker and 1 winger.
-Your fullbacks get forward alot and provide alot of the width and crosses especially from the side with the wide playmaker. So you need pacey full backs with good crossing etc.
-This tactic definately works best with an advanced forward, I currently have the forward to roam from position, but you may want to remove this if you dont feel your striker has the skills to.
-Currently set at low crosses, however if I have bigger forwards I sometimes change to whipped.
-Run at defence is selected, however, if I dont have good dribblers across the att I remove this.
-There are alot of creative midfielders, with regista, deep lying playmaker, wide playmaker and advanced playmaker, so if your midfield isnt so creative change the regista to a normal DM (s) or an anchor if you need more support at the back and the CM to another support role that is more suited to your players, however I find a DLP works the best by some distance.
-I have found that the tactic works best if your AMC has a fair bit of pace.

Above:
-A nice winning run, you can see some of the results and scorelines you could be getting with this formation!
-This tactic also works away! Stats from my 5-1 away win againt city in the ECL semi final last season.
Below:
-My start to this season in the league and the stats from my last game, home to Newcastle.

As I have said this is the first tactic I have posted, so I would love some feedback and how it works with other teams, so please give it a go and let me know if its any good for you!

For OI's I use show on to weaker foot for wingers and forwards and thats it.

Im not Brazilian no, Im from the UK, I just like to play in a few different countries every now and again and I've always found the Brazilian league a bit tricky so I thought it would be a good challange.

Also Ive been tinkering with the formation a bit and I think its best to take dribble more and cross from byline instructions off the fullbacks, Ive added stay wider as an instruction too, but im not sure about that yet. Also Ive taken close down more off the two CM's and put tighter marking on the CB's. We'll see how it goes!

Much happier with the perfomances with those changes made, particularly away from home.

Looks very nice.

Could you tell us how you do your general and match training?

Thanks.

Hi, no problem,

Match training is attacking movement, unless my assistant advises def set peices for an upcoming game due to the oppostions strength in that area.

My general training is for the team balanced with average intensity, with individual training set to focus on the position/role each individual plays usually set to heavy intensity, unless players get grumpy in which case average intensity.

In order to get the fomation to work at its best, it does sometimes require a bit of position training as well for example training your AML's to be natural playing ML etc

Mate, you use Man Utd....you have a decent squad, infinite of money to spend...

Why don't you start something liked Sunderland or Burnsley to prove how good it is....

I am not taking the micky, however a lot of ppl take Barca, Madrid, Man Utd to say how good their tactics.....

i agree with you my brother :)

Yes I agree, and im not saying it's super amazing, thats why I want people to try it out! Its a very good tactic for a team of great players, and like I said I had sucess with this tactic slightly adjusted in MLS with Chicago and the Brazilian League with Gremio, where the teams wern't quite so good.

I agree with this 100 %. But in this case, 148 games unbeaten, only a very good tactic can do that no matter if you have a dream team or not.

But it remains to be seen. I think for the Premier League, Everton is a great team to test how good a tactic is

Awesome man, Im going to try to turn this into a straight up 4-4-1-1
or 4-4-1-1 2 DM

Never been sucessful myself with 4-4-1-1 although its my fav formation, this will be a nice template for me :)

Also look at ChristianEriksen Bplay, he has a great idea, something u dont see very often amongst tactic makers, but he makes a Drop tactic for all hes tactics, to play when you face long balling teams, or when, yeah u got slow defenders.

Just put low defence line, no offside trap :)

Exactly Kallemannen,

I have been making my own tactics for years but even with the best teams I have had, I never had many unbeaten seasons, let alone 3 in a row! So that is why I have decided to post my tactic.

Also, if you go to 2 DM I would suggest making the AMC support rather then att, or you may have a gap in your midfield. I have done this when protecting a lead in close games before.

[/ QUOTE]
gremio mais lucas moura and guliano and barbosa its not real!!!

I've seen a decent 4411 this year, cant remember the author. I'll check the file when i get in, might help you merge them both.

I cant seem to get this tactic to work at the minute on my save, ill keep at it till the end of the season tho.

The full back instructions were a bit iffy on the original post, so make sure you have downloaded the 1.5 version. I have edited the original post and replaced the file.
