Hi All,

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to reply to me.

I've been slowly building up a nice little career on my current game.

6 seasons in. First two spent at Lille in Ligue 1. Coming 3rd in first season, and winning in second season. Left after 1 season to take the Belgium job. Left Lille in a very good state, where they have become the new Olympique Lyonnais. Having won the league every season since I left with essentially the same squad i built.

Against all the odds, I won Euro 2012 with Belgium, although in fairness, I had a very easy run. Playing Holland, Poland, Serbia, Ukraine, Croatia and Sweden. No EASY games, but never had to face one of the big boys such as Spain, Italy etc.

After this success, I was offered the Man Utd job. 2 seasons and three quarters later, i have 2 league titles, and nothing else. My dominance in league is wonderful, 32 games in this season, and havent lost a game yet.

I've got to at least 1 domestic final every season since then, and sometimes two. But for some reason Man City always beat me in the cup.

My main problem however is my very poor Champions league showing. 3 seasons, 3 times out at the first knocout stage, to the following, Panathainaikos, Lille (that hurt) and Zenit. All teams i should be beating

My team is as follows. I play a modified 442. With two attacking wingers.

GK. Alex Smithies (England No.1 on my game)/ Carlos Kameni as backup
RB. Marco Molinari (Quality regen, in Italy squad, uncapped)/Rafael
LB. Kolarov/Bale
CB. Faizio, Jordan Spence, Milan Maricic (quality regen), Guitierrez(amazing regen - 19 years old, first choice mexican international)
MC: Sissoko, Veloso, Rodwell, Marengo (Regen, Dutch international)
AMR: Walid Tounsi (unreal regen, best player on game), Antonio Valencia
AML: Van der heidjen (regen - Dutch international), Tosic
FC: Rooney, Macheda, Danny Janssen(belgian regen international), Mohatma Otoo (sooo good)

Its a total football strategy, with my CM's kinda just kicking lumps out of people or spraying the ball to the wingers who tear defenders to shreds.

Can anyone help me break this european voodoo (and domestic cup struggle)? happy to provide some screen shots to help if someone is kind enough to tell me how!

Maybe change tatics? If in the past you are losing heavly in the Champions League for example, then set the team up in a much more denfence minded way or if you are losing by 1 or 2 goals then i would suggest going all out attack but what I have found is that if you go all out attack and then change to a more defence tactic to make sure you dont lose your lead, it back fires. So I would recommend playing all out attack and sticking with it!!!
