Evening! I need help!

I'm struggling massively! I'm forest in my first season and can't seem to win whatever i do! I've read maxs tactical guide 15 times over and am still struggling.
I play a 4-4-2. Bigman/small man up front, wide modfielders who are vey technical. Attacking cm an defensive cm
My defenders just defend. Strog team but on the verge of relegation!
