Ever actually signed Messi?

Has any one ever legitimately signed Messi or C.Ronaldo?

I imagine it's similar with Ronaldo. I managed to get Ronaldo for Newcastle in FM13, but he was 33, so it probably doesn't count.

i have both Ronaldo and Messi at tottenham , Ronaldo is my assistant manager amd messi is my head of youth development

I got Messi in FM2012 to Man City - but he was about 29-30, and still paid about ?60million. Worth it though, played at the top of his game all the way to 35, when he became a coach! Yaya Toure is doing the same on my current save on FM14.

He's 36, still worth ?1.4million and one of my first choice CM.

Got Messi once by activating his release clause had to give him a massive contract to convince him this was in FM 2013 though
