This is my first go at a story and i am hoping it will go well
Everton F.C - the story
David Moyes Resigns
Everton manager David Moyes has resigned from the club with immediate effect. The Scottish manager has achieved success with Everton in his 8 years in charge. In the 2004-05 season he guided them to a fourth place finish and a champions league spot. Also winning the LMA manager of the year 3 times while at Everton, he guided Everton to the FA cup final in 2009 only to lose to Chelsea. Chairman Bill Kenwright said " We are sad to lose David he was a wonderful man and a great old fashioned manager but also knew the modern day tactics, he guided this club to high places and i am very proud of him and wish him all the best." It is believed that David quit because he said he couldn't do any more for the football club.
Bob Bradley the earlier favourite for the Everton job
American coach Bob Bradley has emerged as the front runner for the Everton job following the departure of David Moyes. The current bookies odd's are.
Bob Bradley- 4/1
Harry Redknapp- 6/1
Sven Goran Eriksson- 8/1
Alan Curbishley- 12/1
Alex Mcleish- 20/1
Jurgen Klinsmann- 25/1
Bill Kenwright issues a statement
Everton chairman Bill Kenwright has today gave the following statement regarding the vacant manager's job at Everton " We are currently looking into other option's, as we are looking for a manager who can keep the club stable and will not want lot's of money, we are happy to give some but we cannot afford lot's. I will issue a statement with the manager's name in the next few hours." So with that said who will emerge as the Everton manager maybe it will be none of the favourites and a complete surprise.
A complete surprise it is!!
Today Everton FC have announced there manager. Matthew Hibbard a complete unknown the only past experience he has had is managing his local side bootle fc when questioned about this appointment Mr Kenwright had this to say " i am very pleased with this appointment it is just the man we wanted, i urge the fans and others to not judge him just yet. I believe we have a great young manager he has all the qualities to be brilliant and bring the club great thing's. This season will be all about consolidation and getting a steady finish"
I will update after a few comment's to see if people are reading it first
