David Moyes Resigns
6a01157028bc16970b0115702ad1e6970b-200wi

Everton manager David Moyes has resigned from the club with immediate effect. The Scottish manager has achieved success with Everton in his 8 years in charge. In the 2004-05 season he guided them to a fourth place finish and a champions league spot. Also winning the LMA manager of the year 3 times while at Everton, he guided Everton to the FA cup final in 2009 only to lose to Chelsea. Chairman Bill Kenwright said " We are sad to lose David he was a wonderful man and a great old fashioned manager but also knew the modern day tactics, he guided this club to high places and i am very proud of him and wish him all the best." It is believed that David quit because he said he couldn't do any more for the football club.

Bob Bradley the earlier favourite for the Everton job
American coach Bob Bradley has emerged as the front runner for the Everton job following the departure of David Moyes. The current bookies odd's are.

Bill Kenwright issues a statement
Everton chairman Bill Kenwright has today gave the following statement regarding the vacant manager's job at Everton " We are currently looking into other option's, as we are looking for a manager who can keep the club stable and will not want lot's of money, we are happy to give some but we cannot afford lot's. I will issue a statement with the manager's name in the next few hours." So with that said who will emerge as the Everton manager maybe it will be none of the favourites and a complete surprise.

A complete surprise it is!!

Matthew Hibbard Interview
This is an interview with the new everton manager Matthew Hibbard:

Reporter : Surely this appointment must have suprised you of all people?

Matt: Yes it was a shock to me, when the phone call came through i actually though it was a prank. but when i met Mr Kenwright i new it wasn't. It took me a day or two to come back down to earth. But i believe i can manage Everton in a great way.

Reporter: With that said how do you intend to be in the transfer market

Matt: I intend to look at my squad and consider who i want in my team, and then look at player's that are available to the club. I will not discuss this matter any further.

Reporter: What about your tactic's how do you intend to play?

Matt: I think it would be careless of me to discuss tactics, with other teams listening to this report. All i will say is that i will try my very best, to get the best out of the team.

Reporter: One last question, early reports have said that you are considering selling marouane fellaini is there any truth in this

Matt: Like i said i am reviewing my squad if i decide that marouane is a valuable asset then i will kepp him, or if i decide there is better quality around for the money we will look to sell him, the same goes for the rest of the team.
