View attachment 47028 Evesham United FC Press Release 07.07.09-

'After 11years as both a player and a manager at Evesham United FC, we regret to inform you that Paul West has stepped down from his post as manager today with immediate effect. The decision has come as a shock to everyone at the club. Evesham United Football Club wishes Paul the best for the future and thanks Paul for his great service to the club. We wanted to appoint a new manager as quickly as possible with the new season on the horizon. And so, after much thought we feel we have found the right man. We have drafted in young a inexperience, yet enthusiastic rookie manager, Kyle Byrne to take the club further'

AUGUST 2009

Hemel hempstead (a) 1-1 (Jemson) Good result. First competive game in charge, came from 1-0 down to rescue a good away point thanks to 39 year old Nigel Jemson.

Stourbridge (h) 0-0 Bad result. Stourbridge have tipped for relagation by the media.I expected a bit more from this game, but didn't really create any chances. Maybe change of tactics for the next game. On the plus side clean sheet and a point. 2 Games, no defeat.

Nuneaton (a) 0-1 Really unlucky to lose this one, i was really pleased with the performance against a good Nuneaton team. We had three disallowed goals :(

Halesowen (h) 4-1 Great performance (San Lee x3, Wright) San Lee with his first goals for the club. This could've easily have been 7, Halesowen were lucky to get a goal.

Truro (a) 4-2 (San Lee x4) Shock away win San Lee is on fire, 7 goals in 2 games!!! I seriously would have been happy with a draw here. Truro will definately be competing for a play off place at least with players like Yetton
