Aside from tutoring, does anyone know if having experienced players is a benefit to the rest of the squad? I remember on the older versions of FM my Assman would talk about how Sheringham's experience 'is an asset to the club'. Do classy players with experience sort of "rub-off" on the younger players just by being in the squad, training with them etc.? Just wondered :)

Don't think it does, aside from tutoring like you said, and sometimes when your say close to winning the league one might 'give a rallying call' or something...Steven gerard has done that a couple of times!
Sometimes new players find other country members at the club helpful...so maybe it should make a difference!

As had been said, don't think their experience pays off too much apart from tutoring, but if they are more likely to have a high determination attribute, meaning they'll want to fight for success more! :D
