Fa Cup winners to get Champions League place

I was talking to my brother jst the other day and I was wondering if anybody agrees with my opinion on who get to represent England in the Champions League. I feel rather than 4th place from the Premier League getting the a spot i feel the winner of the Fa Cup should. This will ring back the days where the Fa Cup was much more prestigious not just a chance to field a squad of youngsters. Just my opinion anyone agree?

Isn't teams from the lower leagues allowed in the FA cup?

Seeing something like Portsmouth in CL. Lol.

But when was the last time a team from outside the Premiership won the Fa Cup + they must hae beaten some decent teams so deserve their place in it if it did happen

No because the point of the europa league is that it was a joining of the old UFEA cup and the now extinct Cup winners cup. Domestic cup winners went to Cup winners cup and now go into Europa league (due to that competition taking over cup winners cup).
